Multiple Program Standard Operating Procedures & Scout Night Curricula

I written a multitude of SOPs for onsite programming and generated new curricula for both Cub Scout & Girl Scout Nights at the Kansas City Zoo.

Distance & Virtual Learning
​
Recovering from the recent pandemic and its challenges brought to light the need for more digital resources and experiences for guests to utilize at home. The first portion of this project was research; what would make Kansas City Zoo unique in its online offerings, what other AZA accredited organizations are doing in terms of distance and virtual learning (especially zoos of similar size and our CEC region), cost analysis, and more. I'm currently working on brainstorming new experiences and developing materials for this giant undertaking!

Animal Handling Certifications
​
I continue to maintain (to the best of my ability) my animal handling certifications. I have worked with multiple species during my tenure at the Kansas City Zoo.
